Around the harbor and the square
Best when you want to go to a restaurant, boat excursions and public transport. You get more city life and less need for a car.
Lamholmen
The small islet in the middle of the harbour, connected by a bridge to the centre. Both Anker Brygge and Scandic Svolvær are located here - you live surrounded by the sea, but walk to the square in a couple of minutes.
Svinøya
Fishermen’s cabins and a maritime setting on the opposite side of the harbour. Distances are short, but check the actual walking route to your accommodation.
Kabelvåg
A quieter alternative a few kilometers away. Here, a car or bicycle is more practical, but you get good access to both Svolvær and Henningsvær.
