Reine

The easiest choice without a car and a good starting point for the Reinefjorden. The selection of groceries and places to eat is limited compared to Svolvær.

Hamnøy and Sakrisøy

Great view and rorbu environment. Expect to walk along or near the E10 in some places, and check how far it is to meals and shops.

Flakstad and Nusfjord

A quieter area near several beaches. Having your own car clearly gives you the most flexibility here.

Short recommendationChoose Reine without a car. Choose Hamnøy for a view. Choose Nusfjord or Flakstad when peace, proximity to the beach and access by car are most important.
